Delete your Dress Style account

You can delete your Dress Style account and its data at any time, in the app or by email. Deleting cannot be undone. Free pictures are lost with it. Money you added and have not used can be refunded: write to us before you delete. Your Google account and Gmail are not affected.

In the app (quickest)

Open Dress Style, signed in to the account you want to delete.
Tap Me, the last tab.
Tap Account and data.
Under ERASE, tap Delete account.
The app shows the wallet balance and free pictures you will lose. Tap Delete to confirm.
The app shows Deleting your account… while it works. Keep it open until it is done.

When it is done, your account and its data are deleted from our service, except what is listed under What is kept. Then your wardrobe, outfits, looks, profile, photos and saved AI results on that phone are erased.

Your phone needs an internet connection for this. If any part can't be deleted, the app says so and asks you to try again. You stay signed in and nothing on your phone is erased; trying again finishes the deletion. If it keeps failing, write to us as below.

By email (without the app)

Email hr@bak.co.in with the subject Delete my Dress Style account.
Send it from the email address you sign in to Dress Style with, so we know the request is yours. If you can't, say so, and we will find another way to confirm it is you.
We delete your account within 30 days and email you when it is done.

Deleting by email does not touch the app on your phone. To clear that too, uninstall Dress Style, or use Me → Account and data → Reset everything.

Deleting some data, keeping your account

A verified photo from an earlier version of the app: Me → Account and data → Remove verified photo (shown only if you have one).
Anything on your phone: delete single pieces, outfits, looks and photos in the app, or use Me → Account and data → Reset everything to empty this phone and keep your account.
Anything else we keep, such as a report you sent: email hr@bak.co.in from the email address you sign in with, and say what you want deleted.

What is deleted

Your sign-in account: your name, email address, profile picture link and Google account ID, kept in our sign-in service (Firebase Authentication).
Your wallet: your balance, free pictures, wallet history, phone codes, referral details and any unpaid orders.
Your referral code. It stops working.
Reports you sent: the reason, the picture and your account ID.
Your usage counts (the times of your requests in the last day you used the app).
Unused wallet sign-in codes (used to open the wallet page from the app).
Old verified-photo data from earlier versions of the app, if you used that feature: the photo and its fingerprints, and any old couple-picture link.
On your phone (when you delete in the app): your wardrobe, outfits, looks, profile, photos and saved AI results.

We don't store your clothing photos, try-on photo or AI pictures on our side, except a picture you reported and a verified photo from an earlier version of the app. Both are deleted with your account.

What is kept, and why

What	Why, and for how long
For each phone on which yours was the first account: its one-way phone code and when it was first used, with your account ID replaced by "deleted"	So the phone does not get a second free picture if someone signs up on it again. It no longer names your account. No end date.
Our record of your payments: money added, pictures paid for and refunds	Not kept: deleted with your account. Razorpay and Google Play keep their own records (next row).
Payment records at Razorpay (and at Google Play, once you can pay there), including Razorpay's record of each order with your old Dress Style account ID	Razorpay and Google Play keep their own records of payments, as the law requires, under their own privacy policies. We cannot delete these.
Service logs: your account ID with your IP address and device type, times, errors and payment events (never photos)	To run and protect the service. Deleted automatically after 30 days.
Safety-check results, kept under one-way codes of photos	So a photo is not checked twice. They hold no photo and are not linked to any account. Deleted automatically after 60 days.
If you invited friends: in their wallets, the account ID of whoever invited them	Part of their wallet. After your account is deleted, that ID no longer leads to an account. It appears only in the records listed above.

Deleted files may stay in Google Cloud's short-term recovery storage for up to 7 days before they are gone for good.

Looks you saved to your phone's Photos, backups you exported and anything you shared stay where you put them. Delete them there if you want them gone.
